ANISA BEGOVIĆ

Graduated from the Department of Oriental Philology as well as the English Department at the University of Sarajevo. Attended various non-formal education programs, one of which was Balkan Youth School that was organized by the Center for Advanced Studies in Sarajevo under the patronage of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. 

As an attendant of Balkan Youth School she had the opportunity to participate in the Introductory Course on International Human Rights hosted by the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, which gathered experts in the field of human rights, researchers and young professionals from all over the world.

As an ESC volunteer in Sanliurfa (Turkey) Ms. Begovic has worked with the Syrian refugees, which included organizing activities with children in local kindergartens as well as providing language support in terms of English and Turkish classes for students and adults in order to help them integrate into the Turkish society without losing their identity. 

Currently works at Yunus Emre Institute in Sarajevo as an instructor of Turkish language and does translation from Turkish and English into Bosnian.
