On 20th of August 2020, Mr. Haris Magrdžija, CHD Director and Mr. Abdulmalik Begović, CHD Secretary General had virtual meeting with Ms. Gabriela Fuchs, Managing Director at WOM. 

That was an opportunity to introduce background of CHD, and its interest to establish cooperation with WOM in which CHD will not be only beneficiary but contributor to international WOM activities. It was agreed that CHD will prepare promotional materials that will be used by WOM in fundraising campaigns in Switzerland. 

The Swiss foundation World Without Mines utilises humanitarian mine action and sensitisation projects in its campaign to enable people to return to a life with no fear of mines. WOM clears minefields. WOM sensitises the local population. WOM informs the Swiss populace about the far-reaching consequences of mines and how they can help alleviate the hardship. WOM supports projects in regions that are no longer headline news and operate where our means can achieve the greatest effect. Families and village communities regain safe access to their land and important resources thanks to our efforts. This reduces poverty and increases the chance of a better life.
