Meeting with Qatar Charity in BiH

On 15th of July 2020, Mr. Haris Magrdžija, CHD Director and Mr. Abdulmalik Begović, CHD Secretary General visited Qatar Charity Office in BiH and met with Mr. Mohamed Ouchene, Director at Qatar Charity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

That was an opportunity for mutual introduction and discuss possibilities for future projects in the field of humanitarian education. 

Qatar Charity is a leading Gulf-origin nongovernmental organization dedicated to carrying out humanitarian and development programs to fight global poverty by working in partnership with vulnerable communities regardless of faith, race, gender or political beliefs Qatar Charity enables people to survive, recover and rebuild their lives while also empowering them to become self-sufficient through practical knowledge, focused expertise and innovative solutions.

Qatar Charity has been proactive in helping the Bosnian people to overcome their plight since the early nineties and opened its first office in the Balkans in 1994 in Sarajevo, the heart of Europe. Since opening its office in the country, Qatar Charity has provided nearly 55 million U.S. Dollars in aid benefiting Bosnians. The Office aimed to contribute in the area of social care, in particular orphans, poor families and students with special needs.
