Visit to International University of Novi Pazar

On 29th of November 2021, Mr. Haris Magrdžija, CHD Director and Mr. Abdulmalik Begović, CHD Secretary General have visited Inetrnational University of Novi Pazar, Republic of Serbia. CHD delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr Suad Bećirević, the Rector, and Mr MSc Haris Zogic, Ac. General Manager at International University of Novi Pazar.

Mr Magrdžija gave the lecture on "The Role of Economy, Law and Information Technologies in the Humanitarian Sector" to students from the Law, Economics, and German Language and Literature Departments.

Mr. Magrdzija was also a guest on the morning program of Sandzak TV.

- It is very important that we have a synchronized approach between what is formally legal and allowed and what is at the same time moral. It sometimes happens in real life situations that something that is legally allowed is not moral at the same time. What is important, I say from personal experience, is the importance of volunteerism for a young person. In addition to giving our time for the benefit of the community to make our lives more active, the volunteer gets the opportunity in some way when he cannot be employed because he is still a student to get at least those proactive skills - recognize the problem, design a solution and make a change in the community. That is what we want through the promotion of volunteerism, not only to contribute to society, but to build the awareness of young people not to think only about personal good but also about the good of the community, said Mr. Magrdzija.
