CHD Team Members guest speakers at the photo exhibition "Hold Your Hand to Others"

On the 24th of April 2022, Ibrahim Malla, Co-founder of CHD, and Ruvejda Dizdarević, CHD Operations Manager, were guest speakers at the O'visor photo exhibition "Hold Your Hand to Others" held at Homework Hub Sarajevo. The main aim of the O’visor project being to create EU relationships forward in founding and recognizing cross-border volunteerism, people from 10 different countries had the opportunity to present their photos and illustrations related to the theme of the solidarity of volunteers in crisis situations. 

CHD delegation explained the importance of humanitarian photography and showed that the impact these types of photographs and campaigns have is huge. 

Ruvejda took the opportunity to present the Center for Humanitarian Diplomacy and shared her experience working in the humanitarian sector. She drew attention to the fact that humanitarian photography ensures transparency and increases credibility, and it is a useful tool for fundraising. 

Ibrahim showed some of his photographs and campaigns that he has worked on with the Red Cross in various countries such as Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Tunisia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sicily, Greece, and Ecuador. Also, he presented his unique and innovative project of the International School of Humanitarian Photography.
